Google Officially Throttling Keyword Planner Data For Low Spending AdWords Accounts
Earlier this week, some marketers noticed that keyword planner data was displaying ranged data with precise volume. The results such as “100K–1M” and “1M+.” Last month Google announced that users do not have to have an active campaign to use Keyword Planner.
According to Google, as usual “most” advertisers will see Keyword Planner data. The ranges that Google will provide for those with small (or no) spends makes the tool almost useless. The ranges that will be provided are:-
- 0
- 1–100
- 100–1K
- 1K–10K
- 10K–100K
- 100K–1M
- 1M+
Another way that users may experience this ranged data is if they search for search data too often. This appears to be an issue that is specific to requests to the API. Gboard Gets First Major Update with Internationalization, Smart GIF Suggestions & Custom keyboards
Google announced the first large update to their iOS keyboard and Gboard, the new update brings international and language support, smart GIF suggestions and a way to customize the keyboard look and feel.

Gboard already works in US, Europe, Canada and Australia while today it has been expanded to French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. You can changes the language in your Gboard settings.

Google My Business Drops Ability To Edit Business Description Field
Google recently announced that it has removed the ability for businesses to edit their introduction/description field in the Google My Business portal. Google posted a note about this in the featured document.
In this the Introduction/Description field is no longer editable in Google My Business. It see only Google+ users, and may still edited there and it will be an improved way to describe your business to users on Google Search & Maps.I checked my Google+ profile for my company, and this is the introductory section:-
Someone say that this was removed because of the businesses used it to stuff spam and keywords in the field. This has not been shown on Google Maps or the Google local knowledge box for some time now. But now you no longer edit it in the Google My Business Portal. Google said you can edit it in only Google+.

Report: Nearly 60 Percent of Searches Now From Mobile Devices
Google officially announced that more than 50 percent of search queries globally now come from mobile devices. But we don’t known exactly whether 50 or 60 percent that is varies significantly by country. Share of online searches initiated on a mobile device, by industry:-
In the above picture the highest percentage with category of mobile volume was “Food & Beverage,” with 72 percent and the lowest percentage with category of mobile volume was banking, with 39 percent (or 61 percent on the desktop).
Another interesting facts is mobile queries are slightly longer than PC search queries. For example, in Food & Beverage, average PC query strings were 13.8 characters, mobile queries were at 15.5 characters (just over two words).

Google Maps Showing How Long People Typically Spend At A Store Or Venue
Google is now showing a new feature in the Google Maps Local Listings for how long a person typically spends at a specific venue. New feature shows of the Google Maps Local Listing page and Google may show how long people “people typically spend X minutes here.” It may be estimate either a single number, like 15 minutes, or estimate in a range of minutes , e.g., between 15 and 45 minutes.

Google Search Analytics Report Adds The Ability To Compare Queries
Google has quietly added a new option within the Search Analytics report, within the Google Search Console, to compare one query against the next. This feature was first spotted by.
The purpose of the “Compare queries” filter is to compare one query against another. You can currently only compare two queries. Here is what that report looks like when you do the comparison.
You can access this feature by logging into your Google Search Console account and clicking on Search Analytics.
